Hello Parents,

There are a few announcements for tomorrow:

1. Sports Jersey Day $1 - All proceeds will go towards the UCSD Burn Center. If students would like to participate, they will donate $1 at the gate. They must come in their uniform bottoms.

2. Harvest Party - Thank you for the overwhelming response to our Harvest Party. If you are donating a hot or cold food item, please send the package to school in an appropriate container. Unfortunately, we do not have refrigerator space due to the large amounts of classrooms having parties. Another option is to drop off the food item around noon. We will have our harvest picnic party during lunch time. The food will be out for the students to pick and choose what they like. If your child feels that the food offered will not be enough for them, they may also bring an additional lunch item for themselves. Thank you again parents for your support!

3. Blankets and Board Games - The students will be enjoying our blankets and board games day. Please have all blankets brought to school in a bag (i.e. trash bag). The blankets may also be used for our lunch picnic.

4. Vision and Hearing Screen - 4th and 5th grade classes will be participating in a vision and hearing screen.

The Garden Club will be offering a crazy sock day for students. One dollar will be collected in the morning from all students who want to wear crazy socks.

Tuesday, November 26, 2013
1. The fourth grade team will be having Sports Jersey Day to raise money for the UCSD Children's Burn Center.  Students can wear a sports jersey (Santa Rosa sports, or professional sports team jerseys).  This will also cost $1.00.  All proceeds will go to purchasing coloring books, gift cards, and other things to cheer up the kids!
2. Harvest Party - Details to come soon!

Diorama

Hello Parents,
As a final activity for our novel study, the students will be creating a diorama based on an important scene in the story. Directions can be found under the 'Reading/LA' tab. I'm looking forward to seeing what the students create as I have been absolutely amazed with what they do for me in class every day! Have a wonderful night.
