Classroom Announcements

Hello Parents,

         We are quickly moving towards the end of the year and we have a lot planned for these next few weeks. Please read on:

         1. Permission slips for the Western Science Center field trip are to be signed and returned as soon as possible. Our field trip is scheduled for next Tuesday.

          2. The carnival is this Friday, March 27. Thank you very much for the donations of both your time and contributions to our prize pot. We are still in need of parent volunteers. You can sign up through SignUpGenius at:

Also, we are still in need of prize donations if you are able. All items can be brought to the classroom up to this Friday. Thank you!

         3. Unfortunately, tutoring is cancelled this week due to the high level of after school meetings. I apologize if this causes any inconvenience.

         4. I had a few questions as to whether or not the state report needs a bibliography. Please have you child include one. I went over the importance of citing references in reports with the students. All books and websites should be cited.

Parent volunteers and donations are appreciated! Please contact me is you would be interested in volunteering your time to run one of the fifth grade booths at the carnival. Any donations (such as hard candy, pencils, stickers, small toys, small Gatorade bottles) can be brought to the classroom up until the carnival. THANK YOU!
