Pizza Basket - GALA

Hello Parents,
Happy Monday! Our annual GALA is approaching! The GALA is a wonderful fundraising event for the school that has been hugely successful since its conception. Each class is in charge of putting together a themed basked that will go up for auction. The only way to make it a success is through the generous contributions of our families! This year, our theme is a "Pizza Basket." If you would like to contribute, I would greatly appreciate it! You can click on the link below and choose an item to donate. All donations can be sent to school with your child. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you again parents and I hope you all have a great night!

Upcoming Events

Hello Parents,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Here is a list of upcoming events:
1. Book Fair (9/21-9/25) - The students will have an opportunity to shop at our annual book fair. All proceeds will go towards the school! Tomorrow, the class is scheduled to attend. At this time, students who wish to purchase may do so.
2. Conferences (9/23-9-25) - Please make sure to review your scheduled conference time. Meetings will last no longer than 15 minutes. If you can please arrive at least 5 minutes early, I would appreciate it! This will guarantee that the conferences do not run over, causing longer wait times. Looking forward to meeting with all of you!
3. Minimum Days (9/23-9/25) - Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:20pm from Wed-Fri.
Thank you parents and have a great rest of your day!

Math Tests

Hello Parents,
This year the students have been working hard on their math curriculum. There are a lot of big concepts that the students will learn throughout the year. As an opportunity to review missed concepts, students who receive a C- or lower on a test will be asked to review and correct. The test correction will be done at home and the students will be able to use their math notes as a resource. This has a double purpose. It is meant to have the students reinforce those concepts, as well as help increase points. Once the test is resubmitted by the scheduled deadline, the student has the opportunity to move their score up to a C- (maximum). I encourage students who are having a difficult time understanding concepts to use the Think Central video resources, as well as attend tutoring. Thank you parents and feel free to email me if you have any questions. Have a wonderful day.
