Hello Parents,
Happy Monday! This week is a very busy week for us in the classroom as we wrap up for our winter break. Please take a look at the following schedule of events:
Tuesday, December 16
1. White Group Math - Chapter 5 Test
2. Movie - Aurthur Christmas
Students went home today with a permission slip. Please sign tonight
                to be returned tomorrow.
Wednesday, December 17
1. Student Store - The students will be putting together a market place to use
their Alvarado dollars. They have a choice as to whether or not they would
like to sell. Items to sell are optional, such as drawings, treats, bracelets,
etc. We discussed how an economy works and this is also an opportunity
for them to get gifts for the holidays.
Thursday, December 18
1. Holidays Around the World - The students in grades 3-5 will be traveling
classrooms and learning about how the winter holiday is celebrated in that
country. Our class has been learning about the Philippines and will share
             about their holiday cultural traditions.
Friday, December 19
1. Honor Roll/Character Assembly - All parents are invited. Our class will be
reciting the character traits of Meekness to the audience.
